COVID-19 & General Infection Control

We have kept our patients safe throughout the pandemic. With Covid-19 infection levels significantly down, and with the majority of UK adults vaccinated against (or with immunity) against Covid-19 we are no longer observing routine Covid-19 procedures like mask wearing, questioning patients about symptoms etc.

But our experience with Covid-19 has brought a focus on keeping you safe from a range of other communicable infections. We have updated our infection control procedures during our treatments to make our patients feel safe and assured.

PLEASE keep reading below for our approach to infection prevention and control:

If you are new to Physio 3.0, or returning back after some time, we would like to speak to you before you come in to see us.

Why?

We have to assess each situation and may decide that a video consultation is safer or more appropriate than a face to face visit.  Face to face visits remain the most effective way of attending to your problems.

If you are feeling unwell in anyway, and would prefer NOT to be seen face to face, we can offer remote consultations to help you manage your symptoms. Our video consultations are run through our practice management system so your information is kept safe with us. We simply send you a link and you can join the video consultation via any of your devices – we do recommend that you try to be in a quiet and comfortable space with good connectivity.

Safety Measures for Face-Face Visits

We’ll do our bit …

We WILL continue to use a face mask and/or disposable gloves for those patients who ask for this or for those who we assess to be at risk. We clean our practice area after each patient, use pillows with easy wipe plastic coverings and obsessively wash our hands. Another benefit of coming to see us is that we don’t have a reception area – you simply walk straight into our clinic rooms from the car park at your treatment time. This means you don’t have to sit around with other people who might be coughing and feeling unwell.

If you do yours …

You WILL, please, let us know if you are feeling unwell in anyway. Please don’t visit us if you are are experiencing any cold/flu symptoms or have an upset stomach.
